Job summary

Clariant is seeking a Production Engineer, Catalyst to support our PPCAT facility in Louisville, KY. You will manage production line performance, provide technical support to improve process reliability, product quality, cost efficiency, and safety.

You will collaborate with plant teams to standardize processes and drive continuous improvement. The role requires 2+ years in production or process improvement in chemical manufacturing, plus Lean Six Sigma and strong communication.

Qualifications

Two+ years of production/process improvement experience in chemical manufacturing
Lean Six Sigma knowledge and advanced computer skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

Support daily production line performance and troubleshoot issues
Ensure compliance with regulations and Clariant policies; participate in risk assessments
Lead or participate in Change Management (MOC) processes and trials
Improve FPQ and investigate/resolve customer quality concerns
Develop and maintain process docs and operator training
Drive improvements in production performance, cost, quality, safety, and environmental protection
Apply Clariant Excellence and Lean Six Sigma tools to track KPIs
Promote plant management systems and ISO standards compliance
