Job summary

Clariant is seeking a Process Engineer to support the Engineering & Process Technology function across the Americas. You will translate laboratory developments into commercial production processes, evaluate technologies, and deliver process designs for capital projects.

The role reports to the Head of Engineering & Process Technology Americas and requires collaboration with R&D, Engineering, and business units.

Qualifications

• Experience in process development and scale-up from lab to commercial production.
• Strong knowledge of unit operations in specialty and fine chemicals production.
• Proven ability to manage interdisciplinary teams and deliver technical deliverables for CAPEX projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead process development, scale-up, and optimization from lab to production.
• Provide technical leadership to interdisciplinary teams.
• Evaluate unit operations and select technologies to optimize energy, cost, and performance.
• Prepare Process Design Packages and FEL/ CAPEX deliverables.
• Define scope, align stakeholders, and manage timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate information exchange between R&D, Engineering, and business units.
• Identify deviations, coordinate actions, and report progress to stakeholders.
• Develop process technology expertise to boost competitiveness and innovation.
