Job summary

Bila Solar, Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer to develop, optimize, validate, and sustain manufacturing processes for solar module production on the Indianapolis floor. You will monitor performance, lead structured root-cause analyses, and create robust documentation and standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on, data-driven problem solving on the manufacturing floor, supporting efficiency, safety, quality, and ramp-up as production expands and shifts are added.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering degree required in a relevant field.
• 2+ years of process/production engineering in high-volume manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven problem solving emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, validate, and sustain manufacturing processes for solar module production.
• Monitor process performance using safety, quality, yield, scrap, throughput data.
• Lead root-cause analysis (5 Whys, fishbone, Pareto, 8D) and corrective actions.
• Create and maintain process docs, standard work, control plans, and PFMEAs.
• Support new-product introduction, equipment changes, and production ramp-up.
• Collaborate with QA, Equipment Engineering, Maintenance, Materials, and EHS to improve safety and quality.
