Bila Solar located in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Solar Equipment Engineer to ensure reliable operation of manufacturing equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and drive improvements in throughput and safety.

The role focuses on maintaining high-speed solar-module production equipment, performing root cause analysis, and mentoring junior technicians within a dynamic manufacturing team in the United States.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field.
At least 3 years of equipment maintenance experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead by example in upholding all safety protocols.
Analyze, inspect, maintain, and repair solar-module manufacturing equipment.
Perform root cause analysis and implement improvements to prevent recurrence.
Monitor Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and other KPIs.
Maintain equipment performance records, downtime, failures, and corrective actions.
Purchase spare parts and manage stock levels for all equipment.
Assist in planning, installation, and commissioning of new equipment and facilities requirements.
Develop and manage the Preventive Maintenance Program with Operations coordination.
Mentor and train junior equipment technicians.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments as needed.
