Job summary

Our client in Seymour, CT is seeking a Process Engineer to join the Engineering Department, supporting Production and Quality teams. The role requires strong problem-solving, effective communication, and a proactive approach to drive improvements.

Key duties include root cause analysis, participation in NPI reviews, equipment evaluation and validation, and collaboration with maintenance and customer support teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.
• 2+ years as a Process Engineer.
• Experience with SMT manufacturing lines and PCBA.

Responsibilities

• Conduct root cause analysis on failures and implement preventive measures.
• Participate in Tech and Design Reviews of existing and new product introductions (NPI).
• Evaluate and procure new equipment and perform product and process validations.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to develop preventive maintenance plans.
• Provide technical support to customers on design and manufacturability issues.
