Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 8+ years of experience or PhD with 5+ years of experience.
• Experience with semiconductor equipment, surface preparation, and analytical techniques.
• Knowledge of SPC/DOE and statistical analysis methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct process engineering R&D for Lam’s semiconductor equipment and systems.
• Review and optimize processing techniques used in manufacturing and fabrication.
• Develop and sustain new processes to reduce costs and increase yields.
• Analyze test data to determine next steps in process development and set specifications.
• Collaborate to plan, collect data, analyze results, and report on customer demos.
• Partner with customers to understand roadmaps, processing flow, and business challenges.
• Contribute to next generation product development and release activities supporting the semiconductor roadmap.
• Provide leadership to process technicians and guide execution activities.
• Work with customers to introduce and drive adoption of new technologies at their sites.

Education

Master’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Physics
