Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• 5+ years' experience in chemical/petrochemical industry in either Engineering or Operations.
• Commitment to high level of safety and environmental awareness.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot operational issues; interface with operations and maintenance personnel.
• Develop and execute capital projects from $25K to $6 million, including scope, safety reviews, and cost estimates.
• Lead process hazard analyses (PHA) and LOPA revalidation.
• Execute and close PHA/LOPA recommendations.
• Identify productivity improvements via data analysis, mass/energy balances, and simulations.
• Propose and evaluate production tests to support improvement projects.
• Monitor and optimize process operation to meet energy, yield, and production targets.
• Prepare Management of Change documents and support MOC engineering tasks.
• Follow new technology developments and evaluate applicability to existing units.
