Job summary

Dyno Nobel is seeking a Process Engineer to drive plant improvements that boost safety, reliability, cost efficiency, and product quality. You will participate in design, equipment specs, construction, and startup activities across projects and capital expenditures.

The role requires a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and 0–3 years of experience in a chemical environment, with exposure to hazardous materials and PSM-regulated operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a chemical plant and/or working with hazardous materials.
• Experience from manufacturing operations in a PSM regulated chemical manufacturing process.
• SAP experience is a plus.
• Ability to independently identify process problems and implement solutions.
• Willing to undergo ATF background check as required to be possessor of explosives.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant improvement projects to increase safety, reliability, cost efficiency and quality.
• Provide input on modification and improvement projects through all design phases and startup/inspection of facilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve plant process problems and support new or modified startups.
• Contribute to structured problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Increase site productivity by implementing standard work, line balancing and removing bottlenecks.
• Support/Mange Change, Focused Improvement, or Capital Expenditure projects.
