Job summary

Dyno Nobel, Inc. in Simsbury, CT is seeking a Process Engineer to drive continuous improvement across site operations within the Electronics Department. This temporary role collaborates with site leaders to identify opportunities and implement improvements.

You will lead time studies, optimize process flows, and bolster OEE while ensuring safety and compliance with HSE standards. A strong CI background and SAP/Minitab experience are valued.

Qualifications

• BS degree or higher in Mechanical/Industrial/Automation/Mechatronics/Electrical/Robotics Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing operations.
• Proficient with MS Windows; SAP and Minitab experience.
• Manufacturing and continuous improvement experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and lead commitment to Zero Harm through safety.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and regulations.
• Increase site productivity by standard work, line balancing, removing bottlenecks.
• Establish baseline, develop measures, and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Align with Business Excellence to reduce waste and improve quality, impacting site costs.
• Use time studies and flows to identify improvements.
• Lead and implement improvements with controls for sustaining results.
• Data collection and analysis to justify opportunities and implementations.
• Gather and analyze manufacturing information to support solutions.
• Introduce ideas/technologies and act as a change agent.
• Support compliance with Company HSE Performance Standards and regulations.
