Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering preferred; Mechanical Engineering considered with relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years as a Process Engineer or similar in the chemical industry.
• Strong knowledge of production processes including manufacturing, assembly and QC.
• Proficiency with Lean Six Sigma and data-driven decision making.
• Familiarity with safety regulations; PSM knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production processes to identify improvements; develop solutions to boost efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and resolve issues.
• Develop and document SOPs for production processes and equipment.
• Design/modify equipment to improve performance and reliability.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Use data analysis to monitor and control process variables.
• Identify automation opportunities and implement supporting technologies.
• Ensure safety, health, and environmental compliance in process design.
• Coordinate with vendors to evaluate equipment and materials for improvements.
• Train personnel on new processes and provide ongoing support.
