Job summary

The Freudenberg Group in the United States is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to create, maintain and revise control mold, process and assembly specifications. You will develop and validate manufacturing methods for molding, secondary operations and assembly equipment, including multi-station and automated systems, and define setup instructions for production.

You will analyze scrap and process variation, drive corrective actions, train operators, and ensure controlled documentation reflects

Qualifications

Experience in manufacturing, process engineering, tooling, molding, or equivalent production support.
Practical exposure to machine set-up, controlled documentation, problem solving and production support.
Ability to use manufacturing data and basic statistical methods to understand trends.

Responsibilities

Create, maintain and revise controlled mold, process and assembly specification files.
Develop, validate and improve manufacturing methods for molding and assembly equipment, including multi-station and automated systems.
Analyze scrap, downtime, quality concerns and process variation; implement corrective actions.
Train and support operators and production leads on revised set-ups and safety methods.
