The role requires a Bachelor of Engineering in relevant disciplines and 2–5 years of process design experience, with travel to mine sites and eligibility to work in the USA without sponsorship.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Engineering in Mineral Processing, Metallurgy or Chemical Disciplines.
  • 2–5 years of work experience; process design experience preferred.
  • Eligible to register with the Arizona State Board of Technical Registration to obtain the P.E. licensure.
  • Willing to travel to mine sites.
  • Authorized to work in USA without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Provide process design support through the engineering phases and front-end design.
  • Perform studies into site improvements and modifications.
  • Develop, promote and use operations systems for projects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve process issues.
  • Develop process flow sheets and prepare design criteria.
  • Prepare process calculations, PFDs, heat & material balances and P&IDs.
  • Size process equipment and develop specifications.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure safe operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with mining processing technology and propose new equipment or processes.
