Job summary

Actalent is seeking a hands-on Process Engineering Associate to support manufacturing projects in a regulated medical device environment. You will assemble and wire equipment stations, read schematics, and assist with IQ/EQ activities under supervision, learning quickly to execute routine tasks independently.

Based in Austin, TX, this contract-to-hire role offers a $30.00–$42.00/hr pay range and on-site work with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience assembling, setting up, maintaining, or troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with electrical wiring, assembly, components, or hookups.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Experience in regulated medical device/pharma industries.
• Experience with IQ/EQ validation protocols (IQ/EQ).
• SolidWorks experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and duplicate manufacturing equipment stations per designs and drawings.
• Wire electrical boxes, mount components, and prepare enclosures.
• Perform repetitive electrical assembly with high accuracy.
• Support installation, setup, testing, and implementation of processes.
• Conduct IQ and EQ activities under engineering guidance.
• Document qualification results per procedures in a regulated environment.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and docs.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, QC, QA, and Maintenance.
• Fabricate simple tools, fixtures, gauges, or prototypes as needed.
• Order standard parts via supplier catalogs.
