Job summary

Precision Neuroscience is seeking a hands-on Process Engineer to support device assembly and clinical builds at our Addison, Texas facility. The role involves building, assembling, and testing neural implant hardware under senior engineer guidance, with emphasis on documentation and quality control.

You will author SOPs, contribute to yield improvements, and help ensure compliant, well-documented production processes in a regulated medical-device environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field with 0–2 years of experience (internships, co-ops, research count).
• MS in Engineering with 0–1 years of experience.
• Hands-on aptitude in lab/workshop environments with tools and instrumentation.
• Foundational engineering fundamentals and basic data analysis skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication for SOPs and record-keeping.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and work collaboratively in a fast-paced team.
• Eagerness to learn and grow technically.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble microfabricated devices into finished headstage assemblies, including PCB and cable integration.
• Perform basic electrical testing (continuity, impedance, functional checks).
• Author and revise SOPs and Work Instructions for assembly and production processes; maintain change-controlled docs.
• Support production lot dispositions and assist with data organization and release activities.
• Assist with excursion and nonconformance handling and corrective actions.
• Support yield enhancement and quality control through data analysis and SPC.
• Maintain records under QMS for Class III medical implant manufacturing.
