Job summary

Knauf Insulation North America is seeking a Process Engineer to monitor and control cold-end processes including curing, sizing, facing, and packaging. You will analyze data from Process Technicians and Production Supervisors to drive process improvements while maintaining current parameters.

The role requires a Mechanical/Chemical/Ceramic Engineering background with 2+ years in Process/Manufacturing Engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Ceramic Engineering or related field required.
• Two years of experience in Process/Manufacturing Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical analyses of manufacturing and process data.
• Identify bottlenecks through time studies and other methods.
• Apply analysis results to improve processes and meet customer expectations.
• Identify recommendations to enhance manufacturing capabilities and cost reduction.
• Participate in projects to improve processes, productivity, and product quality.
• Under supervision, execute projects to fulfill goals in cost reduction, throughput, and waste reduction.
• Maintain process set points and control for curing, sizing, facing, and packaging.
• Review new product requests and approve based on plant capabilities.
• Maintain data and records per plant requirements.
