Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a T2 Process Engineer – Manufacturing Engineering for our Rolling Meadows, IL site. The role focuses on IRCM product support, process development, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.

You will partner with design and production teams to ensure producibility and quality while driving efficiency on the shop floor. This full-time, on-site position requires a mechanical engineering background, experience with fixture/tooling design, data

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology or related field.
Experience with fixture/tooling design and implementation.
Experience with continuous improvement, data analysis, and root cause/corrective action.
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance and US citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

Support production floor with timely technical guidance and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with Design Engineering, Project Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Quality to meet commitments.
Perform hands-on troubleshooting of IRCM Transmitters and Sensors.
Lead/participate in root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
