Job summary

Qnity is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to develop and optimize manufacturing processes at our Cleveland, OH facility. This onsite role partners with Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and R&D to troubleshoot issues and scale up new products and technologies.

The ideal candidate will analyze processes, implement improvements, and drive safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance through Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven methods. Commutable distance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering/technical field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively across engineering, operations, quality, and other cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, yield, and cost.
• Develop, implement, and optimize production processes and operating parameters.
• Monitor process performance, analyze data, identify root causes, and troubleshoot process issues.
• Lead or support process trials, testing, validation, and continuous improvement activities.
• Reduce waste and variability while improving productivity and resource utilization.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, work instructions, and technical reports.
