Job summary

Qnity is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to develop, improve, and optimize manufacturing processes across safety, quality, productivity, reliability, and cost performance. This role partners closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and R&D to troubleshoot process issues, implement improvements, and support the introduction and scale-up of new products and technologies.

This position is 100% onsite reporting to our Cleveland, Ohio facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Experience in process engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a closely related technical role.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex process problems and perform root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, yield and cost.
• Develop, implement and optimize production processes and operating parameters.
• Monitor process performance, identify root causes, and troubleshoot issues.
• Lead or support process trials, testing, validation, and continuous improvement activities.
• Reduce waste and variability while improving productivity and resource utilization.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs, work instructions, and technical reports.
• Ensure processes comply with safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and R&D to resolve challenges.
• Support new product introductions, process changes, equipment implementation and scale-up.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, statistical analysis and other CI methodologies to drive improvements.
