Job summary

Loparex LLC in Iowa City seeks a dedicated Process Engineer with 4+ years in manufacturing to drive safety, quality, and efficiency. Responsibilities include supporting product trials, optimizing equipment, and leading CI initiatives.

Candidates with Six Sigma belts and knowledge of extrusion/silicone coating are preferred. The role requires collaboration across departments, on-site presence, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while ensuring adherence to Loparex

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field required.
Minimum 4+ years of process engineering experience in manufacturing.
In lieu of degree, 8+ years of continuous improvement experience.

Responsibilities

Create a safe, high-quality, and efficient work environment and team approach.
Lead safety-focused culture and drive safety initiatives.
Support targeted manufacturing and maintenance activities including product trials and equipment optimization.
Drive continuous improvement using lean and six sigma projects and data analysis.
Dispositions of non-conforming products and root cause investigations.
Oversee commissioning of new or modified equipment and process improvements.
