Elementia is seeking a Process Engineer to support the production of Fiber Cement siding at the Roaring River plant in North Wilkesboro, NC. The role focuses on process development, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and Maintenance teams.

Responsibilities include solving production issues, leading process improvements, and ensuring safety and environmental compliance. Travel about 5% may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Requires a 4-year BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years experience in paint manufacturing or OEM setting that uses paint in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with computer technology and data handling.

Aufgaben

• Review process performance and quality issues involving raw materials, equipment and procedures.
• Identify and solve production problems; implement changes to manufacturing processes.
• Monitor processes and communicate anomalies in process parameters.
• Troubleshoot and repair system/plant equipment; coordinate new equipment procurement.
• Design, specify and coordinate new equipment installation and training.
• Participate in safety programs and plant safety audits.
