RHI Magnesita is seeking a Process Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes across our Greensboro, NC; Moulton, AL; and Pevely, MO plants. This on-site role requires 50% travel and collaboration with operations, maintenance, quality, R&D, and marketing to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and reliability.

You will lead process optimization, develop SOPs, support capital projects, implement new technologies, and mentor production staff in Lean and Six Sigma methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in process engineering.
• Experience applying Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma; Green Belt preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of process optimization and manufacturing best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Champion process and personnel safety by supporting regulatory compliance and fostering an EHS culture.
• Review, develop, update, and maintain manufacturing processes, SOPs, and standards.
• Serve as a technical SME for plant processes, driving improvements in productivity, quality, reliability, and cost.
• Lead process optimization initiatives to improve throughput and reduce variability.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and root causes, then implement sustainable solutions.
• Partner with operations, maintenance, quality, R&D, marketing, and others to support objectives.
• Support implementation of new technologies, automation, and digital tools.
• Train and coach personnel on process best practices and CI methods.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma principles.
• Evaluate capital investment opportunities and support project execution from concept to startup.
• Participate in engineering projects with deliverables like process docs and risk assessments.
• Develop and maintain MOC processes for safe process modifications.
