Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries, based in Red Bluff, California, seeks a qualified Process Engineer to join our manufacturing team. You will work across production, product development, and service to optimize processes, integrate cross-facility workflows, and push Lean initiatives in window and door manufacturing.

The role requires an engineering degree and 2–5 years in manufacturing, with SolidWorks/AutoCAD experience viewed favorably. Relocation to Red Bluff is expected for the ideal candidate.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree preferred (mechanical, manufacturing, or related).
• 2–5 years in manufacturing with fenestration experience preferred.
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and AutoCAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for continuous improvement efforts and new product development for production processes and equipment.
• Process information improvements.
• Integration of processes across multiple manufacturing facilities.
• Lean manufacturing applications.
• Layout design.
• Material handling improvements.
• Assist with specification of production equipment.
• Collaborate with design engineering and production to optimize methods for window and door manufacturing.
• Provide additional support as required.
