Job summary

Altek Electronics seeks a Process Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes, improve efficiency and safety across facilities. You will analyze current processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to reduce waste and increase throughput.

The role requires collaboration with production, quality assurance, and maintenance, plus development and validation of process simulations and control strategies to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education with 5+ years in a related role or equivalent experience.
• Proven record of process improvements and waste reduction.
• Experience with tooling, fixtures, jigs, and templates desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain processes to improve safety, throughput, yields and costs.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership and training on tooling and lean practices.
• Coordinate with multiple departments to implement new or revised processes.
