Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an engineering degree or equivalent hands‑on manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in methods engineering, machining, welding, or related manufacturing disciplines.
• Ability to analyze and interpret contracts, technical specifications, and engineering drawings for both commercial and military products.
• Strong understanding of core manufacturing processes, including machining, welding, fixturing, and assembly.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access).
• Experience in an OEM environment with a focus on process improvement and cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation, design, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes to enhance quality, efficiency, and robustness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product introductions, process development, and production transfers.
• Develop and approve technical documentation, including process validations and inspection methodologies, in coordination with Quality, Engineering, and Production Control teams.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Conduct risk analyses, lead root cause investigations, and implement corrective actions to mitigate production risks.
• Drive operational excellence through LEAN tools, change control management, and process optimization initiatives.
