Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Process Engineer for the Pueblo, CO facility to analyze equipment, processes and materials and drive continuous improvements. You will interact with cross‑functional teams to standardize manufacturing and achieve operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or closely related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment or closely related occupation.
• Experience leading continuous improvement projects and developing manufacturing methods.

Responsibilities

• Maximize OEE of winding and elbow bending processes.
• Conduct data analysis of scrap, downtime, line rates, and material usage; lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Develop safety, quality, delivery, cost, and innovation improvements based on data‑driven processes and system methodologies.
• Work with maintenance and production teams to ensure equipment reliability and optimal performance; ensure processes comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Prepare charts and reports to assist data‑driven decisions to improve results.
• Lead cost reduction initiatives through materials, product, and process improvements; investigate operational problems such as variances or bottlenecks.
• Provide value stream management and technical expertise related to manufacturing equipment.
