Job summary

Electrolux Group in Springfield, TN is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to lead process improvement and implement lean initiatives across production systems. You will design efficient production layouts, optimize material flow, and drive continuous improvement from design through full-scale production.

You will evaluate equipment, develop performance requirements, and participate in safety buyoffs and budget planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CAD software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid understanding of bills of materials, labor standards, and production routing.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, waste elimination and Kaizen.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing process improvement and lean initiatives across production systems.
• Develop equipment, materials and process performance requirements; conduct vendor evaluations.
• Attend process review and safety/ergonomic buyoff meetings and support budgets.
• Design workstation layouts, standard work instructions and staffing requirements.
• Promote lean operations with 5S, Kanban, TPM, SMED and related methods.
• Act as a change agent to drive sustainable improvements across operations.
• Analyze new processes and equipment to achieve continuous improvement.
• Develop capital investment requests for new processes and control expenditures.
• Create process documentation and train personnel on new processes and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental programs.
• Build PFEP for assembly lines and implement pull signals and kanbans.
• Collaborate with operations and other engineers in problem solving.
• Plan layouts and zoning for efficient warehouse shopping and delivery.
