Job summary

PEG Staffing & Recruiting is seeking a Process Engineer for a growing manufacturing organization to lead continuous improvement initiatives, optimize processes, and support operational excellence across multiple U.S. locations.

The role focuses on improving productivity, reducing waste, increasing throughput, and enhancing plant performance while supporting capital equipment projects and facility improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in manufacturing, process engineering, or continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in metals manufacturing, stamping, or fabrication preferred.
• Lean manufacturing required; Six Sigma a plus.
• Experience supporting equipment installations and capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot production issues and identify process improvements
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement projects

• Facilitate root cause analysis, Kaizen events, and process optimization efforts
• Travel up to 20% to support projects at other facilities

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related)
• 5+ years of manufacturing, process engineering, or continuous improvement experience
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and project management skills
• Experience within metals manufacturing, stamping, fabrication, processing, or industrial production environments preferred
• Lean Manufacturing experience required; Six Sigma experience is a plus
• Experience supporting equipment installations, process improvements, and capital projects
