Job summary

MIL, Magnetic Inspection Laboratory, Inc. in Elk Grove Village, IL, is seeking a Process Engineer to lead continuous improvements in manufacturing of precision parts for aerospace and defense.

You will drive lean initiatives, improve quality and turnaround, and work across quality and production to remove bottlenecks. The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering, Six Sigma/Lean experience, ability to read blueprints and GD&T, proficiency in Excel, and familiarity with AS9100/Nadcap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Familiar with Six Sigma and Lean methods.
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• ITAR eligibility and U.S. work authorization.
• Spanish/English bilingual a plus.
• AS9100D and Nadcap knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive continuous improvement using Kaizen and lean tools.
• Improve quality, turnaround time, and service costs.
• Interface between quality and production to support communication across departments.
• Support corrective / preventive action and process improvement activities.
• Monitor metrics and develop new metrics or methods for improvements.
• Create and maintain internal documents governing efficiency and throughput.
