Job summary

Sprout is seeking an Industrial Engineer to optimize our Texas facility with a hands‑on, floor‑level role. You will define standard work, map value streams, and measure performance using Power BI, SQL, and ERP tools. Your work will scale across the network, ensuring changes are durable and transferable.

You will drive Lean initiatives, develop labor standards, and lead cross‑functional projects to improve throughput, cycle time, and quality while maintaining ISO considerations across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in process/industrial engineering or continuous improvement in manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, or reverse-logistics.
• Experience writing standard work and work instructions adopted on a production floor.
• Proven track record delivering measurable process improvements and leading cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and implement standard work across receiving, testing, refurbishment, teardown, and shipping to drive consistency.
• Develop labor standards through time studies and maintain them as processes change.
• Lead automation efforts and configure ERP workflows to speed execution and capture metrics.
• Collect and analyze data with Power BI, SQL, and Excel to identify bottlenecks and capacity constraints.
• Drive Lean and Kaizen initiatives to reduce waste and improve throughput.
