Job summary

Sprout is seeking an Industrial Engineer to own standard work, process automation, and continuous improvement for the Texas facility. You will spend time on the floor and in data to quantify bottlenecks, prove improvements, and drive throughput.

Reporting to Operations, you will use Power BI, SQL, and our ERP to translate needs into system requirements and ensure gains are sustained as volume grows. This role emphasizes hands-on floor work and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in process engineering, industrial engineering, or continuous improvement within manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, or reverse-logistics.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable process improvements and leading cross-functional projects from an indirect position of authority.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and implement standard work across receiving, testing, refurbishment, teardown, and shipping processes to drive consistency, quality, and training effectiveness.
• Lead automation implementation with cross-functional support from requirements to validation and handoff to operations.
• Drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives using Kaizen, 5S, and value stream mapping to reduce waste and increase throughput.
• Collect and analyze operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and cost-saving opportunities using Power BI, Power Query, SQL, and Excel.
• Act as a liaison between Sales and Operations to ensure customer requirements are accurately captured and executed, and drive change management for new procedures and systems.
