ADM in Fostoria, OH is seeking a Process Engineer to lead day-to-day plant operations and optimize processes for better energy use, yields, and reliability. You will mentor front-line teammates, collaborate with contractors and ADM leadership, and drive projects from design to startup in a dynamic production environment.

The role requires a B.S. in Engineering and 3+ years in a food processing setting, with a proven leadership track record and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Agricultural preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in a food processing production environment or similar industry.
• Previous leadership experience.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of specific processes and projects.
• Project management may include purchasing materials, equipment installation, budget tracking, training, and startup of projects.
• Manage day-to-day operations, including shift coverage if needed.
• Project design, development, and management for plant operations.
• Conduct optimization assessments to improve energy, yields, and reliability.
• Support capital projects including control strategy development and P&ID management.
• Train and mentor colleagues, potentially supervising 10–30 hourly staff.
• Maintain availability for 24/7 operation.
