Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science/engineering field (Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, Electrical/Chemical Engineering).
• Knowledge of semiconductor device characterization and materials analysis.
• Experience with silicon wafer plasma processing equipment, especially plasma-etch hardware and processes.
• Understanding of semiconductor device and process technology.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, collect data, analyze and report on complex process engineering experiments.
• Perform hardware characterization and collaborate with hardware/systems engineers to improve product performance.
• Troubleshoot complex problems, conduct root cause analysis and resolve process engineering issues.
• Generate internal and external documentation for products and reports.
• Interacts with customers to resolve process, hardware, and integration issues.
