Job summary

Crane Engineering is seeking a Process Engineer to join our Kimberly, WI team. You will develop, configure, and optimize liquid process systems from inception through startup and certification, while assessing processes and interpreting data to improve performance.

You will design, test, and upgrade systems, develop best practices, and convert RFQs into profitable orders, managing project timelines and client interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field and practical experience.
• Experience in industrial, pulp and paper, or sanitary markets is preferred.
• Ability to quote, size, and select pumps and valves; strong problem-solving capacity.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and optimize liquid process systems from inception through startup and certification.
• Assess processes, take measurements, and interpret data to drive improvements.
• Design, run, test, and upgrade systems and processes to meet specifications.
• Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality.
• Review proposals and drawings to determine engineering requirements and feasibility.
• Convert RFQ requests into profitable orders and manage project timelines.
