Job summary

Finlays Solutions Americas is seeking a Process Engineer for the Minden, NV site to drive operational excellence through evaluating, optimizing, and transforming manufacturing processes. You will lead capital projects, ensure safety and compliance, and collaborate across cross-functional teams to scale new processes and upgrade systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, process engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of practical experience in a production environment in Food & Beverage, CPG, or related sectors.
• Experience with World Class Manufacturing, Lean, or similar methodologies, with a proven track record of driving measurable change.
• Technical experience with high-speed packaging lines, thermal processing systems, blending systems, and CIP systems.
• Demonstrated experience with Process Safety Processes such as PHR, HAC and LOPA
• Demonstrated competence in Safety Management within continuous processing and packaged goods environments.
• Strong understanding of Quality Assurance systems and GMP environments, preferably within the food and beverage industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead process optimization and technical leadership across blending, CIP, thermal treatment, and packaging.
• Drive projects from concept through capital proposal, approval, installation, and implementation; build business cases with Finance.
• Oversee process safety activities (PHR, LOPA) and collaborate with Global Process Safety Team to improve safety standards.
• Lead commissioning, qualification, and startup of new equipment and processes; document results for readiness.
• Establish systems for ongoing process performance evaluation and drive World Class Manufacturing initiatives.
• Collaborate with Commercialization, R&D, and NPD teams to translate concepts into scalable manufacturing solutions.
• Support sustainability initiatives aligned with Finlays Global Sustainability Roadmap.
