Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with plastic injection molding equipment and troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Willingness to learn new manufacturing technologies.

Responsibilities

• Set up, troubleshoot, and optimize injection molding processes and parameters to maximize yield and minimize cycle times.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and tooling teams to solve technical challenges and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process deviations, quality non-conformances, and scrap reduction.
• Assist in tool sampling, new product introductions (NPI), and scientific molding trials.
• Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and setup sheets.
• Participate in continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma) initiatives across the manufacturing floor.
