Qualifications

• Technical school or 2-3 years related experience.
• 2-3 years related manufacturing and plastic injection molding experience.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Ability to review and interpret technical prints.
• Experience in ultrasonic welding, automation, technical writing, and PLC programming.

Responsibilities

• Works with various company departments to initiate and support the development of new products and processes.
• Reviews existing processes and equipment to find ways to increase quality and efficiency.
• Creates/reviews manufacturing process documentation, including assembly procedures and molding inspection documentation.
• Sources/designs, qualifies, and assists in maintaining manufacturing equipment such as injection molding machines and testing/inspection fixtures used in various manufacturing areas of production.
• Supports molding and assembly teams in resolving issues and delays in production.
• Trains staff in new and/or improved processes and equipment.
• Drafts, performs, and finalizes verification/validation documentation
• Any other assignments as directed by immediate supervisor or their designee
