Job summary

Intersurgical Inc. is a global leader innovating in airway devices and respiratory care. We seek a Process Engineer in Indianapolis to design, implement, and refine manufacturing processes and equipment for respiratory medical devices and components.

You will partner with multiple departments to improve quality and efficiency, support molding and assembly teams, and train staff while maintaining thorough verification and documentation. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Technical school or 2-3 years related experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with plastic injection molding is required.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English clearly.

Purpose

As a Process Engineer, you'd be responsible for creating, implementing, and refining manufacturing processes and equipment to ensure maximum quality and efficiency in the production of respiratory medical devices and components.

Responsibilities

• Works with various company departments to initiate and support the development of new products and processes.
• Reviews existing processes and equipment to find ways to increase quality and efficiency.
• Creates/reviews manufacturing process documentation, including (but not limited to) assembly procedures and molding inspection documentation.
• Sources/designs, qualifies, and assists in maintaining manufacturing equipment such as injection molding machines and testing/inspection fixtures used in various manufacturing areas of production.
• Supports molding and assembly teams in resolving issues and delays in production.
• Trains staff in new and/or improved processes and equipment.
• Drafts, performs, and finalizes verification/validation documentation
• Any other assignments as directed by immediate supervisor or their designee

Requirements

• Technical school or 2-3 years related experience
• 2-3 years related manufacturing and plastic injection molding experience
• Ability to speak, read, and write English
