Job summary

Leonardo DRS, EOIS division in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Process Engineer to join the Focal Plane Array team. You will develop and improve implant, plasma etch, and thin film deposition processes to advance product capability and manufacturability.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Materials/Manufacturing Engineering or related field, 2+ years experience, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Materials Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 2+ years.
• Active DoD security clearance or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide process engineering support to the front end wafer processing team.
• Continuously improve manufacturing processes to optimize yield and cycle time.
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses problems with existing products and makes modifications and improvements as needed
• Establish and maintain metrics to validate material quality at various stages in the process flow
• Analyze and disposition non-conforming material or processes
• Design, develop, and document new or improved processes and equipment
• Interact with management, peers, technicians, and support personnel to coordinate technical activities and progress reports
• Lead and complete projects on schedule and budget
