Job summary

Collectors is seeking a Process Engineer II to join the Engineering & Quality team at our Santa Ana, CA headquarters. You will assist with process development, equipment design, validation, and implementation while driving efficiency, quality, and 5S/Lean initiatives.

This role requires onsite work 5 days a week with some travel to other Collectors facilities. Ideal candidates hold a 4‑year engineering degree and have 1–2 years in high‑volume manufacturing or industrial automation, with strong

Qualifications

• 4‑year Mechanical, Manufacturing, or similar Engineering degree required.
• 1–2 years in high‑volume manufacturing or industrial automation preferred.
• Experience with 5S, Lean, JIT, or Kaizen approaches; strong problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize processes to improve efficiency, quality and stability.
• Develop processes and validate equipment with cross‑functional teams.
• Prepare engineering presentations and document process steps for standardization.
• Support maintenance, repairs, and calibrations; perform testing and report generation.
• Drive 5S and lean concepts in processes and workspaces.
