Job summary

Cadrex is seeking a Process Engineer II to evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and develop best practices within production. The role includes overseeing projects, collaborating with Level I engineers, and driving improvements across workflow, equipment, and layouts.

The candidate should have strong project management, Lean, and CAD skills, with an Associate degree in manufacturing engineering or related field and preferred Bachelor’s degree.

• Proficient with MS Office and internet tools.
• Knowledge of LEAN principles or continuous improvement methods.

Responsibilities

• Manage large project timelines and resources.
• Provide guidance to level I Process Engineers.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Determine equipment and tooling needs to meet specs.
• Improve efficiency through workflow and layout optimization.
• Maintain safe, reliable manufacturing systems and improve outputs.
• Develop innovative production solutions and capabilities.
• Lead LEAN manufacturing efforts and cost reductions.
• Prepare reports and assist in quotes and job costing.
• Participate in continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
