Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking an engineer to support continuous improvement of department processes and ensure reliability of systems and equipment for our manufacturing facility. You will troubleshoot, qualify equipment, and coach team members while aligning with regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes process monitoring, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and ongoing personal development within a 24/7 GMP environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or relevant technical field of study from an accredited university required.
• Minimum four (4) years of engineering or technical experience in a GMP regulated environment
• May consider an Associate’s Degree with six years’ GMP experience or a High School Diploma with eight years’ GMP experience
• LEAN 1Star Certified required
• Knowledge of FDA regulations preferred
• Ability to support a 24/7 operation

Responsibilities

• Support operations within the area through process knowledge sharing and decision making.
• Drive equipment qualification and optimization, validation within area, quality of equipment and processes.
• Coach and mentor team members.
• Drive process monitoring activities for key parameters and track initiatives.
• Coordinate with other processes and support systems across sites.
• Collaborate with site stakeholders and transfer knowledge between production sites.
• Identify development needs with management for career growth.
• Generate and justify improvement concepts and implement across track.
• Follow safety and environmental requirements.
