Job summary

Novo Nordisk is seeking an experienced engineer to ensure compliance of new processes and equipment with global standards, and to improve the reliability of process control systems across the site. This role involves collaboration with local and global teams to deliver design, qualification, and ramp-up of equipment in a compliant, efficient manner.

The candidate will lead improvement efforts using cLEAN methodologies, support audits, and coach colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• Minimum five years of engineering experience in process-based manufacturing, utilities, or packaging systems.
• Associates or high school with substantial experience may be considered with relevant years of engineering experience.
• Knowledgeable in SAP EM, PLC, DCS/SCADA, MES, Oracle, MS SQL, Historian; SAP EWM a plus.
• Ability to translate direction into actionable tasks using cLEAN/Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work with local & global project teams to ensure design of process is compliant with standards.
• Develop & maintain interface agreements with equipment vendors.
• Plan and manage budgets for maintaining & improving process control systems.
• Coordinate with manufacturing schedules to execute improvement plans.
• Support audits & inspections as SME for process control systems.
