Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is seeking a Process Engineer II for its Cell & Process Engineering team in the U.S. The role focuses on process improvement projects for defect reduction, new material integration, and overall equipment efficiency in battery manufacturing.

The candidate will develop and implement process strategies, manage resources, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize production and ensure quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Materials, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (required).
• Master’s Degree in the same fields (preferred).
• 2–4 years of process or manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience in a full-cycle engineering environment.
• Ability to train operators on new or revised processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement process strategies, manage resources, and optimize current manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot root causes and implement countermeasures for chronic production issues.
• Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams on process and machine improvement activities.
• Make data-driven decisions and enhance data analysis capabilities.
• Develop permanent structures and countermeasures to address daily manufacturing challenges.
