Job summary

SGS Consulting in Phoenix, AZ seeks an engineering professional to coordinate engineering changes (ECRs), assess impact, prepare docs, and ensure phase-in/phase-out in production. You will collaborate with Product Leader and team, create BOMs, master data, and verification documents, and train staff.

Responsibilities include planning and tracking changes, leading small projects, and supporting NPIs with manufacturability feedback. Strong communication and Lean principles preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate engineering changes (ECRs).
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and concepts.
• Experience with analysis, troubleshooting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate ECRs, assess impact with stakeholders.
• Create and maintain requirement and verification documents, work plans, master data, and BOMs.
• Provide training on necessary documents and processes.
• Ensure smooth phase-in/phase-out of changes in production.
• Analyze and track engineering changes and prepare information for product meetings.
• Communicate proactively to ensure ECRs are completed on time.
• Ensure documents and master data are created, approved, and trained on time.
• Support NPIs and coordinate materials, feedback on manufacturability.
• Lead small projects and contribute to CoPs, Squads, and Project Teams.
