Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking an Engineering Change Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and implement ECRs in collaboration with Product and Team Leaders. The role includes creating and maintaining BOMs, master data, and required documents, plus training on these artifacts.

You will manage phase-in/phase-out, analyze changes, and ensure timely communications with stakeholders. A BS in a related field with 4+ years of experience (PE preferred) is expected.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a directly related discipline.
• Requires a minimum of 4 years of related experience (or MS + 2 years; or PhD with no experience).
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, assess, assign tasks for, and implement ECRs with Product/Team Leaders.
• Create and maintain requirement and verification docs, work plans, and bill of materials; provide training on docs.
• Ensure smooth phase-in/phase-out of changes in production.
• Analyze and track engineering changes; prepare information for product meetings.
• Communicate proactively to ensure engineering changes are completed on time.
• Ensure master data for product manufacturing is created and trained on time; support NPIs with prototypes and materials coordination.
• Comply with quality objectives, deadlines, and regulatory requirements.
• Active stakeholder management (internal and external).
• Lead smaller projects and participate in CoPs, Squads, and Project Teams.
