Job summary

ONEOK, Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer to provide process engineering expertise for optimization, regulatory, and project activities at the Bridgeport, TX facilities.

The role leads optimization, troubleshooting, and what-if analysis, with hybrid work requiring in-office presence Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday and remote work Wednesday and Friday. The engineer will model processes, support plant operations, develop OpEx/CapEx projects, and engage with Operations to ensure equipment performs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; BS Chemical Engineering preferred.
• Experience with process modeling software (HYSYS, ProMax, etc.).
• Experience using vendor equipment rating software (Ariel Performance, Fisher Valve Spec, KG Tower, etc.).
• Experience communicating technical matters with Operations personnel and implementing operational changes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Project, Access, Word, etc.

Responsibilities

• Process optimization with Operations to monitor and adjust plant processes.
• Troubleshoot operational problems to determine causes and solutions.
• Develop and apply process models to support commercial requests and optimization.
• Maintain, update, and calibrate process models for accurate representations of equipment and processes.
• Assist development and review of basic process design specs for projects.
• Provide preliminary design specs for equipment/instrumentation and coordinate with manufacturers.
