Job summary

ONEOK, Inc. is seeking a Process Engineer to provide process engineering expertise for optimization, operations support, and project activities across Calumet, OKC, Yukon, and other Oklahoma facilities.

You will lead process modeling, troubleshooting, and economic evaluations to keep plants operating efficiently and within specifications. The role requires seven+ years of experience, a Bachelor's in Engineering (BS Chemical preferred), ProMax experience, and frequent collaboration with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Seven+ years of engineering/operations/project management experience.
• Experience with hydrocarbon processing facilities.
• Experience with process modeling software (ProMax preferred).
• Experience communicating technical matters with Operations personnel.

Responsibilities

• Optimize processes with Operations to adjust plant processes.
• Troubleshoot operational problems to determine causes and solutions.
• Develop and apply process models to support Commercial requests and optimization.
• Maintain and calibrate process models for accurate representations of equipment.
• Assist development and review basic process design specifications for projects.
• Coordinate and collaborate with vendors to ensure suitable equipment/instrumentation.
• Provide ongoing process engineering support for plant growth and technical projects.
• Perform basic economic evaluations and collaborate with Commercial/Operations on in-depth analyses.
• Coordinate field studies and implement improvements.
• Provide technical support for process safety management (MOC, overpressure protection, hazard identification).
• Travel to processing facilities as needed (~25%).
