Smiths Interconnect, a Molex company, is seeking a Process Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring products meet quality and parameter specs while driving efficiency and cost improvements.

You will collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to support new product introduction, document process methods, and establish robust maintenance plans. This role emphasizes data-driven problem solving and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes and equipment operation.
• Proven ability to analyze complex problems using data‑driven approaches and define effective solutions.
• Experience with process documentation, methodology development, and technical training material creation.

Responsibilities

• Implement, evaluate, and control manufacturing processes to ensure quality and parameter adherence.
• Support new product introduction with process expertise and technology transfer.
• Develop process methodologies and training materials for operations.
• Establish preventative maintenance plans for critical processes and equipment.
• Conduct root cause analyses to identify and resolve process issues.
