Job summary

Plexus is seeking a Process Engineer to provide technical expertise across manufacturing processes, optimize production for efficiency and quality, and support new product introduction. You will train teams and ensure manufacturability while adhering to standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration, problem‑solving, and applying statistical methods to improve yield and cycle times. A Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of related experience preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills required.
• Strong analytical and statistical analysis capabilities.
• Experience with Statistical Process Control software advantageous.
• Ability to work across disciplines and develop cross‑functional relationships.
• Understanding of structured design and process development.
• Ability to build good working relationships with teams and customers.
• Lab tools/test equipment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop Manufacturing solutions that are high‑quality, cost‑appropriate and meet customer requirements.
• Utilize appropriate tools to perform creation, analysis and verification tasks.
• Demonstrate expertise across multiple phases of the Plexus manufacturing process where applicable.
• Work independently within at least one process area for manufacturing processes or product development.
• Produce comprehensive project documentation in line with quality and change management guidelines.
