Job summary

Armacell is seeking a Process Engineer to join our Spencer, West Virginia manufacturing team. You will support process optimization, new product development, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement within a growing facility, with high-visibility projects that impact product performance and profitability.

The role offers hands-on work with manufacturing processes and the opportunity to influence site capabilities and product evolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Polymer Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years’ manufacturing experience.
• XPE experience preferred but not required.
• Strong computer skills and spreadsheet proficiency.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Hands-on approach with processes and product development.
• Ability to lead on the plant floor and influence others.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost reduction projects to cut costs and boost profitability.
• Lead WAM Early Product Management pillar and drive plant improvements.
• Participate in new product acceptance activities.
• Develop research and development proposals with project scope, costs, and resources.
• Manage key projects, processes, and performance reports.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Operations, and Quality on improvements.
• Review COA for raw materials and manage SDS records.
• Maintain AIMS database records and data entry.
• Assign tasks to R&D Lab Technician and monitor performance.
• Participate on Spencer Management Team.
